I began my yoga journey at Dancing Mind Yoga in March 2009. At this point, I didn’t know the difference between an upward dog, a downward dog or a hot dog. The instructors at DMY are very knowledgeable, passionate and are excellent at helping new students feel comfortable. I practice and volunteer at DMY because I feel it is a workout for both the body and the mind. I’ve learned, and continue to learn, how to live in the present moment and how to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. At DMY, I’ve completed a 6-week Meditation workshop, Foundations of the Flow, 40 Days to Personal Revolution, True North Alignment, Empowered Anatomy and obtained a Teacher Training Certificate through the 200-HR RYT Program in March 2012.
