Programme

MindFit

The general-audience edition of MindGym: the same clinician-designed brain and body sessions, packaged for group sessions at active-ageing centres and easy use at home.

  • VR + tablet
  • Cognitive
  • Physical
  • Daily living

Who it is for

Active-ageing centres, community and befriender programmes, and families who want seniors to keep training mind and body outside a clinical setting.

MindFit brings the exercise library behind MindGym to everyday settings. The sessions are the same clinician-designed cognitive and physical training, packaged for people who are not under hospital care: lighter onboarding, group formats that one facilitator can run for a whole room, and grading tuned so sessions stay fun rather than clinical.

MindFit and MindGym

One platform, two intensities:

  • MindGym is the clinical programme: the more scrutinised and intensive edition, delivered in hospitals and rehabilitation settings with care-team monitoring, and the edition our published studies are built on.
  • MindFit is the general-audience edition: the same exercises, tuned for community settings and everyday routines, designed to run without a clinical workflow around it.

Where it runs

  • Active-ageing centres: group sessions on VR headsets and tablets, run by a facilitator or befriender for a whole room at once.
  • At home: seniors and families run sessions on their own schedule, keeping mind and body active between centre visits.
  • Community programmes: befriender visits, senior activity groups and wellness events that want an engaging, structured activity to anchor a session.

The same exercises, studied

MindFit draws on the same application library studied in MindGym’s hospital and community programmes. See the evidence library for what has been measured, and in whom.
